Today was a really hot day, some say that the average was 102 degrees, some say 105, in any case freaking hot. As we passed some irrigation channels I was looking for one that I could jump in or at least dip my legs without being swept away and become part of the landscape.; no such luck, and to top it off, our luxurious Super 8 Motel doesn't have a pool, heck it barely has internet.

I'm cooked and tired, but I have to stay awake waiting for my laundry, yup, they took our stuff to the laundromat for us, now that's service!

Some of the landscape today, beautiful, but blistering hot (it's the theme of the day).

We caught some shade at lunch time.

And made it to Arizona.

Dinner time, too bad the photo doesn't quite capture the ambiance.
